How to get started if you are a current utility customer

Use these steps if you already have City of Austin utilities but have not used the Online Customer Care (OCC) website.

  1. Create your Online Customer Care account.
    On the new homepage, select Register. Follow the registration steps.
  2. Use the link in the confirmation email.
    For the last registration step, you’ll receive an email message with a registration code link. Select the link. This link may be used only once and will expire after three hours. Completing this step finishes registration and creates your OCC account.
  3. Log in.
  4. Find your utility account.
    Under Are you a current customer? select Find my residential account (or Find my commercial account if you have one). Follow the instructions to find and verify your utility account. This “connects” your new OCC account with your existing utility account.
