  3. Click Okay.
  4. Click Support to get information on utility services, billing, payment, payment assistance, and more.

Speak With Someone Who Speaks Your Language 

City of Austin Utilities representatives can help you with your account, billing, and payment needs — either on the phone or in-person.

Representatives can help you to:

  • Start, stop, or transfer utility services.
  • Understand your utility bill.
  • Make a payment.
  • Make a payment arrangement if you cannot afford to pay all of your bill at once.
  • Restart utility services that have been disconnected.

To speak with someone on the phone:

  1. Call 512-494-9400 or 3-1-1
  2. Press 1 for English. Press 2 for Spanish. 
  3. If you called 512-494-9400: Press 3 for residential services. Press 4 for commercial services.
  4. A representative will answer.
  5. Ask for someone who speaks your language. A representative will help you or will call an interpreter to help.
