Help Austin Provide Summer Camp Scholarships, Plant Trees, and Lend e-books

Contributing to the Parks & Libraries Fund will benefit the Austin community in so many ways. Your donation will help:

  • Fund scholarships for summer camp and after-school programs provided through the Austin Parks & Recreation Department. These programs give all Austin community children the chance to gather, learn, and play outdoors in a safe and structured environment.

  • Plant trees on public property via the Planting for the Future Fund. Trees help shade and cool the city, where temperatures can be several degrees warmer than surrounding areas. This fund helps keep Austin cool naturally, improve air quality, and reduce energy costs.

  • Meet the increasing demand for the Austin Public Library to lend more e-books, e-audio books, and e-video as well as streaming video. This fund will allow the library to purchase more of these extremely popular materials and to add other digital materials such as e-magazines and downloadable music.
